Trauma Therapy

Trauma-Focused Therapy
and Mental Health Support

Nightmares. Flashbacks. Unwanted thoughts that won’t go away. It can feel like you're drifting while everyone else is grounded, leaving you overwhelmed and disconnected. It feels burdensome and, at times, unbearable.

You don’t have to carry the burden alone.

Traumatic experiences can take away our sense of safety and greatly interfere with our day to day life. While we cannot change what happened to us, we can change our relationship to it. Deciding to seek help is the first step in changing our relationship to trauma.

It is possible to move beyond the effects of trauma. Let’s work on finding you freedom and relief from distress…

Areas of Focus:
  • Adverse childhood experiences

  • Shock/acute trauma

  • Attachment based trauma

  • Complex trauma

Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART)

Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART) is a unique type of trauma therapy that can help reduce distressing symptoms like nightmares, intrusive thoughts, and flashbacks.  ART offers relief when trauma continues to impact your daily life.

What makes ART so effective? This gentle approach combines rapid eye movements with guided imagery to help your brain process traumatic memories differently. Similar to EMDR but enhanced with elements of Gestalt and psychodynamic therapy, many clients report feeling lighter and calmer after just one session.

“Trauma is not what happens to you, but what happens inside of you as a result of what happens to you."
